Open Access Policy

The Lafia Journal of Scientific and Industrial Research (LJSIR) is an open-access scholarly journal. All published articles are freely available online immediately after publication to encourage broad visibility, easy access, and active scholarly communication. To maintain this publishing model and support essential editorial and production services, the journal applies an Article Processing Charge (APC). The APC is ₦50,000 for Nigerian authors and $50 for international authors.

By submitting a manuscript to LJSIR, authors agree that, upon acceptance, the journal is granted a Licence to Publish the work. This licence authorises the journal to publish, reproduce, distribute, archive, and make the article available in both print and electronic formats, including through recognised indexing platforms, databases, and repositories. Where a manuscript is not accepted for publication, the licence ceases to apply automatically. LJSIR operates as an open-access publication, and copyright in each published article is held by the publisher.
