Abstract

The world faces unprecedented challenges in ensuring global food security while promoting sustainable agricultural practices. Crop protection plays a vital role in addressing these challenges. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is emerging as a transformative force in crop protection, offering innovative solutions to optimize crop yields, reduce chemical usage and promote eco-friendly farming practices. This paper explores AI-driven crop protection technologies, including machine learning (ML) models for pest identification, predictive analytics for early warnings, and AI-powered drones for precision pesticide application. The paper highlights real-world applications, challenges, and future prospects of AI in agriculture, emphasizing its role in achieving sustainable food security.
